After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intervened, van de Beek opted for Manchester United despite rumored interest by Barcelona. Crossbar can exclusively reveal that an agreement has been struck between Ajax and Manchester United for a fee believed to be €45m.
The dutchman has verbally agreed a 5 year deal with the English club and the transfer should be completed very soon. Donny van de Beek leaves Ajax after 118 appearances scoring 28 goals in all competitions. He will add dynamism, creativity, and goals to Manchester United’s talented midfield.
